Which desktop environment are you using? In KDE, it's KDE Control
Center->KDE Components->File Manager->Behavior , make sure "show delete
context menu entries which bypass the trashcan" is set to Y. Keyboard
shortcut is Shift-Delete. Or pretend you're using a Mac and move to
trash, then empty trash. HTH,

I tried both those and they wont delete.

When i try and drag them to the trash i get

Error could not delete file

None of the 4 icons actually work

When i load a cd-rom and double click i get the error
