Re: Only some websites will open - Ubuntu

My brother's motheboard (having the problem with Kubuntu 7.04) is a Gigabyte K8 Triton GA-K8NF-9 (Athlon 64), using the privided gigabit ethernet connection.

Mine is a rather old QDI KinetiZ 7B (Athlon) with a NetGear FA311 10/100 ethernet card. I had the problem with OpenSuSE 10.2 and Fedorea Core 6, though it's working perfectly with Kubuntu Feisty.

Could you post any system specs? I have to wonder if there are any
hardware similarities. This is the only computer I have ever had this
problem with, and the motherboard is a Tyan Tiger i7505. I am using
the onboard 10/100 networking adapter, not the gigabit version.
