Knode limitations

Knode does not search articles by content. And it does not allow me to
delete headers e.g., like all the spam selling sport shoes on this
group.

Is there a more capable news reader I can install on my Slack 12
system?

Google Groups is OK but the search facility won't find pasts after
Luly 19th.
