Google Groups is OK but the search facility won't find pasts after
Luly 19th.


I have to agree that Knode has many limitations, but the fact that is part
of Kontact makes me forget about many of them... Don't ask me why, I'm
silly like that I guess :D

To the point:

The way I filter spam is to create a "scoring" rule to "mark them as read",
and then I set my "view filter" to view "unread mail only". This is ok for
me because I don't usually have the need to go looking for old news (I copy
interesting post to a "Interesting" folder on my "Local Folders" section)

Anyways, the Scoring Rule I use for the shoes ones is:

Conditions: Match any condition
Message-ID: .googlegroups. # Note the dots. They are important!
Action: Mark as Read

It could be a little bit more specific so it doesn't just filters all
messages coming from google, but to be honest the only people I see posting
directly at google forums are spamers.
