Running Mandriva 2007, having recently installed broadband (and also the

experiencing occasional spontaneous reboots.
Just now, I had only just booted up and was in Firefox when the mouse
cursor froze and the PC then rebooted itself.
When then rebooting the Mandriva boot info showed:
"/dev/hdb7 Recovering journal
udevd-event [1464]: rename_netif: error changing netif name sit0 to:
Invalid argument"
(/dev/hdb7 is /home. Got 61GB free)
then various other lines, after which the bootup continued normally and
Mandriva is performing OK.
Suspecting a flaky drive, I ran the Maxtor diagnostic CD, which
pronounced the drive in excellent health...
Anyone any ideas as to how to proceed, please?
Have you tried swapping out the power supply?
