I am getting
Warning: unable to open an initial console
It seems to me that this causes the system to hang right after that.
My kernel command line looks like:
Kernel command line: auto rw root=/dev/nfs init=/sa_links/nash /
sa_links/sash_init_script console=ttyS0,9600n8 nfsroot=/tftpboot/
%s,v3,tcp,rsize=8192,wsize=8192 ip=bootp
My sash_init_script contains:
exec /sbin/init auto rw
Perhaps, I setup some flags incorrectly when I compiled the kernel.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
You have specified a serial console on
the command line, but you do not have a
/dev/ttyS0 entry or the serial port driver
is not compiled into the kernel with the
'Serial Console' option.
