CUPS and USB

...tryng to get a USB printer going..debian etch/cups/usb/webmin
NOW Ive intstalled all the latest drivers, but the CUPS/webmin stuff
does not present me with a USB option, just a load of serial and
parallel ports?
Anyone know the magic spell?
NB the printer is not plugged in at this point..
