After recent disappointments with Fedora 8, I am looking elsewhere. I

Have you found a rock solid, easy to upgrade linux server distro?
I do not want much, all I need is kernel, filesystems, ssh, LAMP stack
and that's all. (where P stands for Perl)
thanks
How old is your hardware?. CentOS 5 is solid and has long term support
but it uses a 2.6.18 kernel so if you have a Core2 you will have to build
your own kernel.
