Yes. you are now asking the system to create and iso containing the iso you
just created. Why you would want to do that I do not know, but that iso
WILL contain additional information not the original directory system.
Anyway, who are you doing all this?
I am trying to get the following two commands to match:
md5sum foo.iso
md5sum /dev/scd0
-T
If it helps, K3B's original MD5SUM matches my
sum from my ISO file.
Also, here is cdrecord K3B's run line:
/usr/bin/cdrecord -v gracetime=2 dev=/dev/scd0 speed=24 \
-dao driveropts=burnfree -eject -data /home/KasRescue/foo.iso
My cdrecord run line:
/usr/bin/cdrecord -v gracetime=2 dev=/dev/scd0 -dao \
driveropts=burnfree -data /home/KasRescue/foo.iso
K3B's "md5sum /dev/scd0" matches both my and K3B's
"md5sum foo.iso". My "md5sum /dev/scd0" does not
match.

p.s. I asked the author of K3B what he was doing
different. He wrote me back:
"Writing an iso image is the most simple task
there is with CD writing. No tricks, nothing
special to consider... Sorry, I have no idea
what could be the problem."
Editorial comment: AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!
This has to be right under my nose!
