Are you using cdrtools from ftp://ftp.berlios.de/pub/cdrecord/alpha/
or one of the broken forks?
I am using the one that came with Cent OS 5
If it is the fork, why does K3B (also from Cent OS 5)
get away with doing an md5sum on the iso and the
cd (/dev/scd0) and I don't?
If you write in session at once mode and if the CD-ROM driver is not
broken, this should work.
If you write in TAO mode, you would get into trouble if you try to compute
md5sums directly from the CD device.
