UNIX System Administrator with strong Suse Linux background.
Required Skills:
* Must have at least 3 years Suse Linux System Administration
experience in a large production datacenter environment
* Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills
* Must be comfortable translating technical information to non-
technical people
* Must be comfortable working in a highly visible role with upper
management, internal customers and/or regulators
* Must have good H/W diagnostic abilities at the OS level
* Must be available 24x7x365 for on-call rotation
* Must be able to self-manage with little or no direct supervision and
very little direction
Desired Skills:
* Any prior experience with Solaris, HP-UX or AIX

Start December 4th
Experience required:
Experience building an embedded Linux distribution for a small device
(64MB flash, 64MB RAM, 266MHz Pentium processor, WiFi, SVGA
touchscreen).
Experience with interfacing some uncommon peripherals with Linux
(touchscreen, barcode scanner)
some experience building basic Linux apps (such as a simple setup
application to set basic configuration parameters, like SSID, WEP key,
hostname, etc).
Direct experience with VMTs a plus, wireless networking a plus,
Familiarity with Thin station Linux a plus, remote technologies like
VNC, RDP, etc, a plus.
