You can buy a copper based anti-seize compound at any
auto parts store; and for $5-6 it will do more cpu's
than you will see in your lifetime! It's about 99% as
good as the silver based stuff which costs twice that
just for a single cpu.
NAPA sells a 4oz container made by Permatex as "Item
#765-2569". Just stir it up good before applying a very
thin layer.

I use that on my diesel generator, for the grounding connection.
