Try the comp.lang.* groups,http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/
programming-9/ and there are many other forums on programming. Google is
your friend. Just be more specific on your programming language of choice
when googling or asking questions in newsgroups. HTH. :-)

Hi Rob,

oh sorry that I didn't mention more specifics of my question. I'm
using g++ and programming C++. My question is related with semaphore
and shared memory. I'm wondering how to control locks held when an
application is unexpectedly crashed.
