17 cpi: SI or ESC SI (ascii 27, 15)
8 lpi: ESC '0' (ascii 27, 48)
6 lpi: ESC '2' (ascii 27, 50)

If you still have an old dot matrix printer in the attic the
sequence will not have changed‒might need a new ribbon though :-)
