Great Permissions Tutorial

The largest argument I have heard against using Linux as a business
server (vs. Windows Server) is that the permissions are not as easy
and to define for accounts, nor as fine grained. As I continue to
develop my Linux skills... where is the best tutorial/material so I
can master this area?
