This is why Red Hat offer (so to speak) both Red Hat Enterprise Linux and
Fedora. It has less bugs, is fairly easy to upgrade, and does not go out of
date for seven years. To get this, you do not get the latest and greatest
bleeding edge software; instead you get freedom from bugs and long-term
stability. You can upgrade every year and a half (roughly), but you do not
have to. I usually skip every other one.
