The Linux equivalent is probably "leafnode", which can be used with any
NNTP client as it simulates a local NNTP server. You configure the list
of groups to pull articles from, run leafnode, and then point your NNTP
client at leafnode. I use something a bit less complicated, slrnpull,
which only works with NNTP clients that can read spool directories.
This may not work for you and YMMV since I don't read binary groups.
This may be a Apache question but can I still use asp under Apache.
In addition to what others have said, there is or was something called
asp2php, which may be able to automatically translate an ASP script into
a reasonable facsimile of PHP code. HTH,
