Cygwin != Linux. You are on MS-Windows with access to MS-Windows utils and
Cygwin utils. Use "net send" command to open a message dialog from within
your skript or cron job skript.

In any case, the Cygwin milinglists at

are far more useful if you have questions about Cygwin than any Linux
newsgroup.

Yes I discovered "net send" really on the cygwin mailing list
Before, I posted here because the script language is the same in cygwin as in
linux
