Hi,

We are using Red Hat v9 and we are having a problem with both USB and
getting Samba to work and Video card compatability.

I am thinking of rebuilding the machine and starting from Scratch,
which flavour of Linux would you recommend?
Thanks

I started out with Red Had 9 years ago. I've built several systems
using linuxfromscratch.org and was pleasantly surprised by how easy it
is; if you have old hardware with limited main memory, this is the
best choice, because you can build a system that contains only what
you need.

Recently I've installed Slackware 13 and SuSE 10.3 and both of them
are good.
