Hi,
A user account has expired on our system.  How do I extend the
expiration date?  I'm using Fedora Core Linux.

man passwd
-n -x -w

I changed the password for the account as root but when I try and log
in to the account I still get

dante@localhost's password:
Your account has expired; please contact your system administrator

Regarding the options you posted, those only have to do with how long
the password is valid -- http://www.computerhope.com/unix/upasswor.htm.
