hi,
i would like to generate a single audio-only image of my wav files
using CLI tools (eg mkiosfs etc) that i can take an burn on a
different machine as the burner in my machine is broken.
i have all my .wav in one dir but i have not padded them.
can anyone tell me how i would do this using something like mkiosfs
etc? i do NOT want to be using any grfx i/f as the machine i want to
generate the image is fairly low on space.
At least with my (somewhat limited, only about 7 years) with
burning audio CDs, if you are wanting to burn an audio CD
playable on any ordinary audio CD player, you'll have to
copy the files to the machine with the burner and burn them
from there (or use NFS or Samba if you have a rock solid
network between the machines). As far as I'm aware, there
really isn't an "image" format for audio CDs. The
difference between burning a data CD and an audio CD is at
burn time, not at image create time (because there is no
image creation for an audio CD).
