Did I understand right, not only the network connection but the whole
(client) computer freezes? I would not load the driver at all for normal
work, either work wired or plug in a PCMCIA wireless card or organize
in such a way that I work off line, connect only to update/checkin with
a server repository and go off line.
I would not be posing such a question if the whole client did not freeze.
Yes, the entire machine freezes - USB devices dead, network daemons dead,
unresponsive to keyboard and mouse etc. The only way out is a hard reboot.
This is what makes this bug so darned irritating.
