Well- most basic need will be a video capture card.

But something you may want to consider is that for not much more
than the cost of a decent video capture card you can get a VHS to DVD
recorder and save yourself a lot of hassle.


I take it back - last I looked a few years ago this was true--
now quick we search shows that VHS/DVD recorders are down at the
price of really low end video capture cards-- and _cheaper_
than decent ones.
