Since upgrading to Ubuntu 8.10 the mouse buttons on my Logitech wireless
mouse no longer work properly (i.e. as they did before the upgrade).
The reason seems to be that the mouse section of xorg.conf has been
commented out by the upgrade manager because the mouse is now handled by
HAL.
So comment the section back in.
But if it is handled by HAL, won't it just be ignored?
There isn't a man page for HAL
'man hald' is a place to start. I just ignore HAL and let X handle the
mouse as always, though.
Thanks
