I kludged together an IE8 User Agent String for the Firefox "User Agent
Switcher" plugin, and the ie8/competition webpage gave me a "Welcome"
message and "Twitter" message box to read. If that's how they protect the
contest page, I bet they do the same for the "hidden" prize page.
I don't have UserAgentSwitcher, and I can see the twitter window just fine with FF.
