Hello sirs,
Is this group unused because i'm just seeing spam, tons of spam... =/
I'm a brazilian Linux/BSD user and evangelist and this situation let
me sad.
There's no way to reduce the Spam flow<#>
Maybe I'm lucky but I don't get any spam on this newsgroup.
Probably my ISP takes care of that for me.
From your post's header I was left with the impression you are
accessing this newsgroup through google groups, which is a
notoriously poor usenet service, not only in terms of
accessing it but also in providing an open gateway to
spammers.
Since google groups is mainly an access point for spammers, a
lot of people (especially the more experienced) filter out all
posts made from google groups -- it's a simple and very
effective way to get rid of 99.9% of usenet spam.
If you're posting from google groups, you're being ignored as
spam by a lot of people.
