VLC always starts with a maximized window. I can't find a way to make
the window smaller. Can I? If so, how?
Thanks
The setting for vlc are in the file ~/.vlc/vlcrc. You can edit this
file, looking for the word "fullscreen" or you can open vlc and
edit your preferences with "Settings->Preferences". Click on "Video" and
look for "fullscreen"
Thanks, I took door number 2 -- which wasn't on the main menu of the
window but in the context ( mouse ) menu
