Openshot Help Need. Not Rendering Whole File.

Hello.
Hoping someone can help me with my Openshot problems.
I have a video that is just an edited down version of a longer video and
some still graphics I inserted to use as title cards. I add some fades
and transitions to these titles sometimes.
No matter what I try Openshot will not render out the video to its full
length. The last video clip stops at 10:26 and is followed by two
graphics that last until 10:48. Every render produces a file that stops
at 10:26.
Kubuntu 11.04
64-bit
Openshot 1.4.0
Original video source according to VLC is an AVI containing a DV video
(dvsd) and PCM S16LE (araw) audio file.
They original video is of poor quality hate to make it worse by having
to re-encode it.
I installed KDEnlive and redid it from scratch but it gives me a file
with no audio. Tried changing the audio settings under Configure Kdenlive
- Playback to no avail.
Used ffmpeg to create a short video out of the end title graphics. Tried
to append the two videos together. No luck. Mencoder, FFmpeg and mkvmerge
either messed up the audio too badly, or just did not work.
More than happy to provide additional information if needed. If you have
advice how to get the whole thing to render, please advise.
Thanks.
