Just got off the phone with their tech support:
1) it has a read only switch
2) it only support 32 bit Linux; won't work on 64 bit
(the tech tested while I waited)
3) when 64 bit support hits in a few months, we will
be able to download a flash file to upgrade
4) you can go back and forth from a M$ machine and a
Linux machine
Usually Linux gets royally ignored. This is a good sign.
(Now I wait for 64 bit support.)

Don't rush out and buy one right away. The Linux driver
is in a terrible state.
