No, it works for perl with a less restrictive license. The key is that
the code is allowed to be restributed under the conditions of either
license. Since you can distribute it under the GPL there is no
reason for GPL proponents to rewrite it and nothing to prevent
linking with GPL'd code. Since you can also distribute it under the
less restrictive licence it is non-viral when not linked with strictly
GPL'd components.

That's why I wish you'd fix it... I tend to have huge folders and moving
things
around with normal unix format files is painfully slow so I've forwarded my
mail to another machine that uses maildir and the patched uw-imap. It has
much better performance but there are some ugly quirks, especially
with it's concept of time.

Is this their replacement: http://dovecot.procontrol.fi/, and would
you recommend it?
