Hi Peteris,
The delays may be caused by a wrong forwarder entry (maybe the ISP has
changed the DNS ip's ?).
Try to run your server without forwarders enabled, so that it does it's
own root queries. If that improves the situation, than check, if the
forwarders you have used before are still working, or if the ISP has
changed them.
