Pull up a terminal and use ifconfig to see what network interfaces you
have. You should see your wireless card once you think you have been
connected. Check the broadcast address etc. too.
Do the same when connected via wire - differences?
If you cards were configured using Mandrake you could look in
/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifup-eth0 check them out!
bringing up an interface is as easy as typing ifup-eth0 as root
next try route - that will give your gateway.
use the results you get from those to post again!
