Can't send mail with mutt, using sendmail. TIA

Sendmail's on my system, but I don't use it. I'm trying to use it now
that I use mutt, though. In the .muttrc file, I put
sendmail="/usr/bin/sendmail" but it doesn't send. Actually, it sends, but
gets returned to my system.

Please help.
