Hi,

I have a cable modem which assigns a dynamic IP address, which I
believe exists for as long as it is powered on. That modem is
connected to my Linksys wireless router, which has an IP address of
192.168.0.1. My Linux workstations on my LAN then have 192.168.0.X.

Now suppose I telnet into the workstation at my university. How can I
open a socket to one of my workstations on my LAN?
In other words, I can do a ping from one of my workstations to the
university workstation, but how can I do the reverse, i.e. ping from
the university workstation to a specific computer on my LAN?

Thanks,
Mike
