If you check out http://www.redhat.com/support/resources/mail_news/mail.html
your find a how-to and a FAQ for POstfix and Sendmail on Redhat Linux.
I've used both of these How-to's when I installed my mailserver, and It
works like a charm. I used them for Redhat 7.3, 8 and 9.
Hope this is what you're looking for.
