I have an issue with my swat configuration that has me a bit stumped.
My machine was configured with Debian Woody. I installed the 3.0.0.2
binaries for samba, samba-common, and swat from samba.org. Everything
was working fine at this point and I configured my PDC setup using
swat. Since I am not the only one that must administrate the machine
SWAT is crucial to be working.
I update my sources.list file to point to sarge, then deselected to
newer kernel I wanted for my dual Athlon system. updated, reboot,
still works. Ran an apt-get dist-upgrade. Still works.
New week, check for updates, run an apt-get update, apt-get upgrade.
It upgrades my samba to 3.0.0final1 from testing, system still works
except for swat. now I getthe following when connecting
swat: /usr/lib/libgnutls.so.7: no version information available
(required by /usr/lib/libcups.so.2)
HTTP/1.0 200 OK
Connection: close
And then a 401 authentication error.
I put swat into demo mode and get the same as above, plus the normal
page minus all icons. I can navigate, but there images do not appear.
Obviously I can not run production using demo mode. Any ideas on what
the issue might be?
