I was connected to local network with some friends in the neighborhood.
We are using Microsoft Networking without domain (workgroup only).
Since I have several computers at home I decided to put linux box between me
and rest of local network.
Now it looks like this:
LAN IP:192.168.0.0/24
|
MyLinuxBox (two NIC + ISDN for internet)
|
MyPCs IP:192.168.10.0/24
I am using RH9 with IPTables and NAT
I can connect to internet through LinuxBox (even with my notebook over WiFi
:) ), also I can connect to any PC on LAN, but I need to know it's IP
address. Browsing machines in "My Network Places" is not working.
If I type ip address of machine in Windows Explorer eg. \\192.168.0.15 I can
connect and browse machine.
Can someone tell me is it possible to get list of machines to work and how?
Are there some tutorials available?
