You are the best! It worked. I changed dhclient.conf to
"send dhcp-client-identifier 1:MA:CA:DD:RE:SS:XX"
and it works. Am posting this from my linux box.

Thanks to all, especially to Joachim Mæland and P Gentry. Lemme know
if you are in the New York area. Cant wait to buy you a drink :)
