]My external modem is USRobotics Sportster flash.

]Mandrake set up internet connection during installation process and it

]Does anyone know how to fix this matter?
No carrier means that the modem has not made the connection to the far
side. Telephone line down, no modem on the far end, etc. If you just
dial the number on your ordinary phone do you get modem noises. Do you
get modem noises while the modem is trying to connect?
