Ummm. It's not your decision. You really need to spend some time
talking to your ISP, I think. If they're not using DHCP, you can't
use DHCP. The whole point to this is communication. If you aren't
listening to what they're saying, you're going nowhere.

You really need to talk to BT, or another BT user then.
