ive been asked to network cheaply and quickly (file access/sharing) which
have a broadband connetion between them. Currently have a windows 2000
server doing their network stuff separateley .
All clients are win2000/win98

Would SAMBA on one site with an ftp server allowing people to log into their
home shares be a reasonable way to do it.

I see there are fixes for SMB shares over TCP/IP which requires fiddling
with individual machines. I havent go the time for that sort of fiddling
around at the moment.

Any other (quick and easy ) fixes ?
