What is an rtc internet connection?

]Nov 16 23:51:08 joe pppd[7727]: pppd 2.4.2 started by joe, uid 1000

enable debugging.
place
debug
into /etc/ppp/options and also the line
daemon.*;local2.* /var/log/ppplog
into /etc/syslog.conf and then do
killall -1 syslogd

]The other, configured at the same way:

]Nov 16 23:49:37 joe pppd[7215]: Using interface ppp0

]Nov 16 23:49:41 joe pppd[7215]: Cannot determine ethernet address for
]proxy ARP
Why do you have the proxyarp option enabled on this machine? Your
configuration is NOT the same.

]Nov 16 23:49:41 joe pppd[7215]: local IP address 62.147.88.201

]Remote IP adress is local !??

What are you talking about?
