Hello,
I´m trying to install a AFS-server on my Debian (woody) box.
I wish to use Kerberos and I have configured the Kerberos-realm.
I also created a partition mounted on /vicepa and formated it with ext2.
I compiled and installed the AFS kernel-modules.
For the Kerberos-realm I used the Debian-script "krb_newrealm" then I
started the "afs-newcell" script. Everything goes well until the
"vos create -server servername -partition /vicepa -name root.afs -cell
domain -noauth"
command is issued. This command blocks and gives some of the following
errors
"FSYNC_clientInit temporary failure (will retry): Connection refused"
after some time I get this error:
"unable to retrieve partition list from server"
Looking in the /var/log/OpenAFS/FileServer.log it reveals:
"cannot get CPS for AnyUser"
I´m totally stuck here. I´m trying since 5 days to get any further but I
can´t find the error.
Bad thing is I need to get it running because it´s a project for my
university-study.
Can anyone please help me?
With best regards
Odin
