Some ASUS motherboards have an integrated wifi expansion slot. Here's
a link to one mobo: A7N8XE-Delux
http://usa.asus.com/prog/spec.asp?m=A7N8X-E%20Deluxe&langs=09
As I understand it, the wifi card must be purchased separately and
includes a wifi antenae. http://www.xpcgear.com/asuswifipcig.html
It's supposed to be more than a wireless reciever. It's supposed to
route an ISP hookup from ethernet and broadcast it as a 802.11b or
802.11g signal.

(1) Are there any Linux drivers to use this card as a wifi client?
(2) Are there any Linux drivers that will run this card as a base
station? I think a support application would also be required.
(3) I've seen posts about the Marvell 88E8001 PCI ethernet controller
under Linux and there are some drivers hosted by ASUS
http://www.asus.com/support/download/item.aspx?ModelName=P4P800%20SE .
DOES IT WORK? Is anyone using this ethernet port with linux?
