I'm using a D-Link W650 pcmcia card (prism2) on my Toshiba Satellite
laptop running RH9. By default it uses the orinoco and orinoco_cs
drivers. Buth this driver won't do scanning. From what I can tell, the
wlan-ng and hostap drivers do. But I don't know how switch to either of
these (after I install the packages). I can't find where the orinoco
drivers are loaded. Any suggestions will be appreciated. I've tried
loading FC2 on the laptop but the pcmcia slot becomes inoperable. I
would like to try FC3 but don't want to have to re-intall RH9 again if
FC3 has the same problems with the pcmcia card slot.
