Debian-sarge gateway refuses to renew it's DHCP-lease

My Debian-sarge gateway refuses to renew it's DHCP-lease, even when
iptables firewall is off. Anybody got a clue what could be wrong, or
where to look, cause i can't find anything in the logs?
