Greetings. I am using FC3.
I have a local tape drive that I backup an NFS mounted directory with. Both
machines are running FC3. The tar fails at least once with:
tar: <dirname>: Cannot stat: No such file or directory
each time I run the backup. This is a very large directory and it can take
hours to fail. It's a multiple tape backup. Sometimes it fails early,
sometimes late...
The directory is seemingly random that it fails on.
I verified - the directory in question is completely skipped, and it messes
up the multi volume backup so that it won't go past the affected volume
on a tar -tf.
Ideas?
-- It's 3:30, why aren't you at work? I.. I didn't feel like it.
