Hello,

I have a network at home that consists of a linux based router/firewall.
I have 2 imacs, 2 windows, 1 linux desktop and one laptop with linux
on it. The network has a 100Mb switch. When I ftp files between the
router, linux desktop and the imac - I get a transfer rate of around
8MB/sec. Whenever I run the ftp on the windows, or the linux laptop I'm
getting around 2MB/sec transfer rate...

What gives?
