/etc/sysconfig/static-routes file missing

Hi,

I want to force my machine (RHEL 4) to act sa router. But in
/etc/sysconfig there is no static-routes file as it should be.
If I add route with route add command that is not permanent.

Does anyone knows what is the problem?
