Hi there.

I've just installed Fedora Core 4 on a partition on my PC which runs
windows XP as well. I have cable modem broadband and it works fine in
windows. How do I set up Internet access from Linux?

Thanks in anticipation :)
If you connect to the cable modem through ethernet, you should be there
already.

If you connect through USB then, if you are not there already, tell us
what USB device you use (see what driver is used under Windows XP).

Robert

Thanks Robert

Its a wireless network card in my pc, the cable modem uses Ethernet.

When you say I should be there already, when I launch firefox in Linux it
wont connect to the web(?)

By ethernet, I meant the wired connection. What sort of wireless network
card do you have, or more specifically, what is the wireless chip on your
card and how is it attached to your computer? Some wireless chips are not
supported by Linux.

Robert

The wireless card is a Belkin 802.11g
